migrating 10.9 to 10.10

    Upgrading from 10.9 to 10.10 or later

    I own a Macbook Pro running OS 10.9 and really need to upgrade. I am concerned about losing some applications that won't come along. Does anyone know a good set of instructions for migrating ?
