mute button

Why is this (still) a thing? I set the button to mute, accidentally click on a Twitter video and BOOOM THE WHOLE TRAIN can hear the video on full volume. This is so annoying that I have to police the apps themselves, when the idea is for the ..mute button... to do it?

Who asked for this stupid mute button… and right in the same place where you’ve been trained to press play/pause all these years… so annoying… if I wanted the sound to stop I’d hit pause… I can think of far more useful buttons if they were gonna add stuff….
