AirPods Pro Build Quality

Does anyone else notice and feel the joint/ seam (where the two parts come together) on their earbud?
On mine its very noticeable on the left earbud..
On the right its smooth.

I did not drop them and i am not the person who puts everything under a mag glass. I feel this seam gap or rough edge everytime I put the left one on.

It's actually very common unfortunately. Seen this on my Gen 1s, Gen 2s and AirPods Pro

The reality is that is that's just how these are built. Yes, there are slight variations (some better some worse) but I have never seen one as flush and seamless as the wired versions. As long as they work as expected, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I have that crack too, I already exchanged once, but both AirPods have crack on new ones too, I believe they all have crack?

i have the same in one. It may be, but I don't think, a seam. Can't feel or see it on the other Airpod.

Doesn't really bother me as you really have to look hard with torch light to see it and it's not effecting the sound, but I may pop into a store if I'm close to one and get a Genius to have a look.

But when it’s get dirty, it will be a black line, very visible, crack is same on each one, I am wondering if it’s seam, I will have them check too, I have Jan 8 to return now, I guess I will return them eventually

If you look on the Apple store page for Pro's, the seam on the picture is quite proniment

Did you end up going to the store? I noticed the exact same one on one of my APPs. Just on the left one though, it exists but is less visible on the right one. Looks more like a hairline crack due to structural integrity (I accidentally dropped them once).
I’m also on the fence about getting an exchange, doesn’t seem quite worth it cause it doesnt effect the sound and I’m happy with them otherwise.

Yeah suppose youre right. I dont see it on the other one but I can feel it ever so slightly.

Mine are going to be replaced by Apple.
They wont connect or reset. So apple is replacing them buds only despite telling them that the charging case doesnt charge them. lets see what happens
