There are times when I'd like to let my nephew (12 years) use the iMac when he visits. Let him watch YouTube videos or play online games. The iMac only has Safari on it. How should a separate user account for him be configured to keep the system mostly secure from malware etc. Or is there a relatively quick way to lock down the system but still allow those activities? Thanks

Any standard account can be set up with parental controls, and doesn't have access to install stuff in the system without administrative authentication. Files in the Guest account are deleted when the user logs out, although access to the shared folder can be granted.

Thanks very much, Red Menace. I'll work with the parental controls on a guest account for him.
