He just descriped how MC/Visa works. Does not matter if Credit or Debit scheme. The only difference is, that the payments are authorized and billed directly against your bank account and not summarized over a month (charge) or a credit account (credit). Clearing and settelement is the same.

as said, even bunq or revolut or N26 mark these transactions as pending as long as the the transaction is not finalized by the network. In this state it is only authorised and the amount is blocked. These banks just „show“ them as setteled in the balance although they are marked as pending sometimes for days.

so what to do for other Banks?
Let the customer decide if they want to see the „available“ balance or the correct accounting balance.

Just an fyi - Apple Pay at Commerzbank is definitely happening and probably this year. There are just too many clues.

Norisbank #comingsoon.

Wow, quite a development in just a year. All major banks will be on board and next year we'll hopefully see full implementation of all remaining cards (esp. VPay/Maestro and Girocard).

Then you probably turned off wallet notifications. I get notifications for my comdirect Visa in Apple Pay even though comdirect app doesn’t support real time notifications for card payments.

These notifications do not have the wallet icon.

Notifications always have the icon of the app for which they got sent.

They do not. It clearly says wallet. These notifications show the icon the bank chose to be shown in the wallet app when you first add the card. Normal notifications of your bank app just use the name without the “| Wallet” added. Try turning off notifications for your banking app and you’ll see that you will still get these notifications after paying with Apple Pay.
There’s even a setting for every card in the Wallet app.

All active here. @kkrdvc So, if I need a history, I need the app, right? I mainly use my watch and to pay within apps I use my phone.

You don’t need your banks app. Payments you do with your Apple Watch are shown within the Watch app under Apple Pay & Wallet and then the card you use.

I think, I will wait and see how they do it, because within the boon. app I´ve got a complete history.

But why do I need to be an online banking customer at Sparkasse, to be able to use Apple Pay? Do you guys get that?

Does anyone use the send money to friends feature of boon? And if yes, do you see all of your friends?
Asking, because a friend of mine can't send me money anymore and boon support is not very helpful over the last weeks. ?

Mhh... interesting, wondering why they did this now (adding it to features networks), as it was supported in DE from the start. Maybe a second bank or even more to come with Maestro support?
