Are cellular series locked?

I am looking at buying a used series 5 cellular on o2. Will I be able to esim with EE?

Watching this one as I've always wondered if having the watch previously activated on another network causes challenges later to a) Use it at all on another cellular contract b) On another cellular network.

I'm not in that position but I worry that once that UDID is in the system somewhere there's something stopping it from being removed.

I don't think so. They have a E sim and only support some carriers. You can switch carriers in the watch app on the phone.

From what a Verizon tech guy has told me they can activate used watches from other carriers but occasionally watches activated prior with AT&T sometimes give problems. He said not near as many problems as when it was a new technology.
