In Pages, when I click in the header, I am shown 3 sections within the header. Is there a way to make it just 2 sections (or 1) in the header? I can't find a solution and a search didn't help. Seems a simple solution has to be there...for some reason, I can't find that we are not allowed to change the set number (which is 3) of sections.

I know if you are typing, the sections will combine, or at least look like they will combine. I just tested it out... However the byproduct of this, is there is a gap on the right side of the document where the two columns have been squished together.

Or what happens if you put your curser in the first box and go to Insert-- Text Box and then scale it to the size you want for the header? I know it will over write the three columns and give you one text box to work in.
