Change ram Mac mini 2018 : 2 questions?

With Black Friday I bought 32gb crucial and a Torx kit for open my Mac mini and upgrade ram from 16gb.
I read and see some videos and I understand that is easy to make this change .
I have 2 questions about this work:
1) have you some advice/tips for make this change?
2) if I change again ram (32->original 16gb) my Mac mini will have again warranty?

Thx but you answer too late because yesterday I changed ram and I am happy.
I don't see huge difference between 16 and 32 gb but I think I had a good idea changing the ram.
