I am a bit late to the party updating but I'm updating an app I have on the App Store for the iPhoneX/Xs/11 size.
If I add a new view controller to the storyboard, both the storyboard and preview show the view taking up the full height of the iPhone X. However, when I launch the simulator its a square of white the size of an iPhone 6 in the middle of the screen, with black bars top and bottom.
I just found out you need to set the launch screen file to point to your storyboard. But I have 2 storyboards 1for iPhone and 1 for iPad. Same for main_interface dropdown. Not sure how to set them.
/*
builds for IOS 9.0 and later selected
*/
