iPod Classics are the bomb and Apple should bring them back as is with a SSD and servicable battery – the way mine is now. I love having 100+GB of offline music, for airplanes, travel, etc. No stutter, no buffering. No wireless drops over bluetooth.

I have been very seriously considering getting an MP3 player to leave connected in my car.

Owning my own music and listening to it offline > streaming services
I still have an iPod Classic. I drive through remotes area without signal, so suggestions like Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc., aren't all that helpful. I'll continue to use Sirius/XM since I got a great deal on that. Also, I have music that's not available for sale.

AGAIN? Look at the jillions of Classics on eBay. They've never NOT been popular.
Another dumb decision at Apple not keeping the Classic going with an SSD.
Hard to beat the click wheel. A Classic with Bluetooth and an SSD would sell like hotcakes.
Music is a unique APP. It needs the unique hardware Jobs gave us with the Classic.
