I was thinking, if this device existed it'd be beyond needing an ecosystem. Keep all your content and data on one device, that's always on your person. Back it up to a local HDD. Full portability, Bluetooth keyboard when needed, mouse and desktop monitor support when needed etc, full Linux OS... Can a Surface Go or such be modified to do this? Making calls is also essential to eliminate the need for a smartphone.
