hi

when i am using google maps through the chrome browser on macOS Catalina 10.15.1 it won't give me the actual precise location i am at. it gives only a more generic location (that's maybe being gotten through frequent locations, or, wifi location, or ISP location, or something like that).

so google maps on chrome is basically unusable for me right now as it won't give me my location.

in System Preferences (apple/System Preferences/Security&Privacy/Privacy/Location Services/Chrome is not listed as an option to check.
it doesn't appear to be a Chrome or google maps problem as i have repeatedly checked and given it ok within google settings to find my location.

fwiw, using google maps through safari does give the precise location.

is there an update coming for this?
