HELP! broken home button/jailbreak problem!

i have a 2nd generation ipod touch running version 3.1.2. it was jailbroken using blackra1n. i want to unjailbreak it. however, my home button doesnt work. thats why i keep it jailbroken, because i installed a program that when i push down, up or up, down on my volume buttons, it works as a home button. today, i had replaced the home button and digitizer, but my home button still doesnt work. i just feel like its a bad connection between the home button and the mother board.


is there any way i can fix this?

Hi, I have made a guide for using p0sixpwn to do an untethered jailbreak. This method does not require dfu mode, it works with your ipod turned on and plugged in to your computer.
