Took these 2 shots tonight after recent update. I did notice pictures were good but video quality could use some improvements

What's going on with the Google/Huawei issue at the moment? I am due an upgrade and really like the P30 Pro.
As of now I have been receiving all of my updates and it works like a charm so far. Not sure about the future but I sort of doubt Huawei would turn their backs on all the people who bought the phone before Trump’s new laws kicked in. I would think that Google would be legally obliged to at least continue to provide updates for what they were paid for. In the contract term between Huawei and Google what they paid for includes security updates and access to Google Play Store. Google would be breaking contract/terms if they did not provide what they were paid for.

Good to hear that so many people are pleased with this phone. It does look like a solid phone. A lot to think about when the next upgrade comes around.

This phone continues to be ridiculously good, cannot wait for the Mate 30 Pro though, one thing I am sick of on my P30 Pro is the 1080P display, it just does not have the density of pixels of my iPhone XS Max or a Samsung Galaxy S10+, I can see it every time, it's especially evident when I look at the devices one after the other.

I wish Huawei had used the Mate 20 Pro display on the P30 Pro. The Mate 20 Pro to me is still overall a better package, especially now that it has EMUI9.1 with the new EROFS File System that the P30 Pro brought.

Other than the Display, I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with this device everyday, it's almost too good in other areas.

Will be using the P30 Pro at least until the iPhone 11 shows up in 2 month. Got a new one for 579€ and missed the 5x and 10x Zoom on my vacation 4 weeks ago where I had an iPhone XR and Pixel 3a XL with me.

Lol, I often dual carry iPhone XS Max and P30 Pro just for the P30 Pros amazing Zoom and Night Mode. I don’t do it everyday but if it’s a day where I have my sim in the iPhone and I am going out to somewhere where I’ll take plenty pics, I dual carry.

Still using P30 Pro as my daily, but I think I'm going iPhone 11 Max when it comes out. Been having some problems with the P30 like VoLTE and VoWiFi was gone after 2 of the 3 latest updates so I had to factory reset.

My updates are still coming in although that looks like it may change due to Trump

Indeed, I got 177 the other day.

Another P30 Pro reviewer in our local forum managed to get enrolled first on EMUI10 Android Q to

It has been rather unstable for him though in typical early Beta fashion.

Have spoken to Huawei and I should be getting my enrollment sorted out soon to.

I am lucky that the P30 Pro is not my daily. Apparently the phone tends to think it’s charging even when unplugged and has some very odd behavior with this Beta build.

Will report back when I get it on mine though. The guy who manages the device reviews did give us a brief play around with Android Q on his P30 Pro and it seemed pretty fast and fluid, but I never got to experience all the nitty gritty stuff.

I have literally left mine here for the last few days

Just got 185 on mine, letting it update now

I noticed after update some of the Camera colors became worse in some conditions. Gray/black colors were not so accurate when mixed together. Also in dark room with one light on there was excessive flickering that now takes place in image prior to taking picture and you can see it in image after as well

I’d be interested to see how the 3aXL fairs against those phones.

What does that have to do with a battery life test?
