So i followed a tutorial online, everything was perfect.
Turns out, after i formatted the disk, it asks me to reinstall lion.
When i try to install it, it says the HD has S.M.A.R.T errors.
On to another video, tried using the HD First Aid- i verified disk, repaired it. Tried to install again, same error.
Then i tried verify disk permissions and repair disk permissions, cause it can solve the problem- but they are unclickable.
Kinda stuck here.. Mac boots to no OS now. what do i need to do?

Since posting this you may have found a solution.
If not, first things first.
What are you using, a laptop or desktop? What model, year and specs?
The heading shows this section of the forum is for Mountain Lion. Are you sure your computer is capable of running Mountain Lion?
What was your OS before starting the upgrade? Can you provide a link to the online tutorial, it's possible they ommited an important step, or failed to give sufficient information regarding the formatting.
