I recently gave my old iHome dock to my sister. I haven't used the dock since I received a Lightning-compatible iPhone, other than for its FM capabilities, as I couldn't get the lightning-to-30-pin connector to connect to my iPhone.

Well, tonight I just found out that the speaker tends to sound fuzzy when she plays the music through her 5th-gen iPod touch, and it's been like that since the first time she played music on her iPod through the dock since receiving the dock.

When I had it, I had no such problems. Any idea what could be happening?
