This is great but is there any clue to how long Apple is going for security updates only?

It's possible that some of the patched CVEs are still protected by a publication embargo, agreed to by various industry partners for their mutual benefit to avoid the risk of triggering a zero-day exploit, until all of them have finished rolling out their patches for all supported platforms.
