iOS 8 Widget Customisations using Launcher

hey all! Thought I'd make this so we could share what we're all doing with our notification centre widgets with Launcher.

Official website | Developer: Cromulent Labs | App Store link | Free, with 3,99 dollar in-app purchase for Pro version. | compatible with iOS8 and iOS9 versions | There are major changes as of iOS9 in regards to URL schemes see also this article.

Would be great if we all share the URL Schemes that got us those actions too. This is a wiki so feel free to add things in the right sections. Generally the method to select something is:

1. Open launcher and tap the + to add an app launcher
2. Select the built in settings (notice the > pointer to tell you there is a drill down)
3. Scroll down to add the individual sub menu you want and select it.

However, some of the actions are not there so we'll document those actions here below.
But you can also send suggestions to them via this link so it will be added within the app laucher soon.

Apple's Settings App URL schemes are unfortunately no longer allowed by Apple since March '17 so therefore Launcher and other Launcher apps had to remove it but they still work by manually creating them.

Settings URL schemes iOS8/9:
See iOS10 but then instead type prefs: so with a lower case 'p' for prefs.
Except for Location services which is different between them:

Waze: You can set multiple waze launchers to automatically start routing to a predefined lat/long point. You can't have it set to your favorites, but if you get the latitude and longitude of your favorites destinations you just enter them here:

Replace the first *** with the latitude and the second *** with the longitude. you can get lat long on google maps (desktop only) by rightclicking on the map and selecting "what's here?". there are for sure apps out there that give you lat long on your phone as well.

For instance the one for SMS messages is:

The problem for me is that it opens the messages app ready to write a new message. What i can't figure it out is how to open the messages app where i left it for the last time, just like pressing the iPhone messages icon.
Does anyone know how?

That's for Notification Center widgets. This is specifically for one app, Launcher. I think it could use it's own thread so people can post creative ways they are using it, much like people do in the post your home screen thread...

- Mobile Data (prefs:root=Cellular) - Haven't figured this one out. Any help appreciated.

Just a generic phone dialer, and generic sms icon. They keep saying a url. But I don't know how to do that.
