Just got my case from fedex from Apple. Overall looks nice. The black case is lighter than last years battery case.

Mine arrives Monday.

I've went from my watch well outlating my phone battery life plus battery pack to it being close last year with the battery pack and I imaging this year the phone plus battery pack will outlast the watch.

Are the buttons on this case metal, like the buttons on Apple's Leather cases?

It's hard to tell from the pictures.

No silicone same as the case, the recessed button on the bottom right is interesting, holding it in opens camera.
Got mine for 11 pro yesterday, weighty. Rang to do a return and they said keep it and refunded me straight away.

How much does the new 11 Pro Max caseweigh?
The one for the xs Max was 108g (I weighed it on my kitchen scale) and I found it to be too heavy for my hands.

Got mine on eBay. $199Aud here, no bites at $169, so $30 off retail is not enough off for eBay buyers? Have had 77 views in 1 day.

Apple store near me received some shipment on Saturday and I went to pick this up. It's nice. However there is one thing I noticed that is different from the XS Max version is that the accessible to the ringer/silent switch is smaller and harder to get into. UGH>

Day 2 with mine, they shouldn’t have called it black but that’s ok... it’s just motivation to get the white one in a year or so when I can’t take how worn down it looks :).

I ended up returning the Smart Battery Case for my Pro Max for couple of reasons.

1. The Volume up button is a bit loose when I push it. Not an issue on my actual phone and my other case does not do this when it's in the case so definitely it's the case button issue.

2. Battery capacity was wonky and went down but after not using it, the capacity on my phone is back to normal.

3. The quick camera button doesn't work 100% and when there is a moment that I need to take a photo, I already missed the moment.

4. I'm not actually used to the thickness of this one, plus the battery life on the pro max is really great without it.

Yeah I’m getting Generic UPS for my smart battery case for my 11 Pro

EDIT: Nvm. It now shows the proper title and even updated the thumbnail to show that it’s from a newer iPhone 11 Pro (camera cutout) View attachment 879763
Geeze and I thought 36 was cold. Is that F or C though?

Excellent. I am waiting for posts on whether the 11 PM case also warps like the XS Max did, causing charging to be inconsistent.

I got the white one. Do I need it? No. But Im OCD about battery charge. Never know when you can’t hook up to an outlet. I got the battery case last year and while I was a fan of the battery life I was not a fan of the quality of the silicone. The white case turned brown in 2 or 3 days and I exchanged it for the black one and that one the finish wore off very quickly. Had tons of shiny spots after a week and It showed all my oils. Keep in mind I BABY my phone.

im on day two with the new white one and it looks and feels better than last years and I am a fan of the camera shutter button.

also I thought with the pro max being heavier that the addition of the battery case would be unwealdy. It’s actually fine.

I'm right on the edge of getting one for my Pro 11. I travel internationally a fair bit, chargers on the phone aren't always the most reliable and it beats carrying an external battery. I generally hit my destination in the morning, with the battery case, I'll have a full day of charge ahead of me.

I know this is the 11 PM thread, but I just got my Apple smart battery case for my XS Max from Amazon at a great price of $59. Its been 2 days and I'm not sure if I really like it. I usually have <30% by the end of the day, hence the battery case.

Its a bit heavy to hold but I can get used to it. Just wondering if using a wireless battery pack would be a better solution.... has anyone tried them?

Following up on that, I’ve had the new case in white for over a week now. No discoloration or anything. They’ve definitely improved the quality of this one over last year’s.

Sort of disappointed of the poor contrast between the case and the apple logo colors for the black. I am almost tempted to switch for my wife's Pink since the Apple Logo on their is more distinct against the Case Color. I might look at the white and exchange but not sure yet.

i get that. I think they made the black a bit lighter this time because the xs case showed wear so easily
