Currently at 86% which is fair since I've used the hell it off of it. Just wish I could tell if I'm getting good battery nowadays since the new battery app is useless after they removed the Time Since Last Full Charge stats.

I ended replacing the battery back in December 2018. By that time it had a year and battery health was down to 88% with maybe 375-400 cycles. According to Coconut Battery by 165 cycles it was down to 95% on May 2018.
The new battery was installed on 12/28/2018, to this day it has 232 cycles and 98%.

how is it today? is the battery performance still good or has it gotten worse?
coconutB: 436 cycles - 87% - 2375 mAh.
Apple battery health: 88%.
The phone was purchased ca. 5 weeks after release day.

Phone performance is still fine - but obviously the battery performance has dropped due to the inevitable wear, and I'm starting to "feel" it.

In case I don't upgrade (which I'm not planning to do) I'll get the battery replaced sometime within the next months or so..

732 cycles on my launch day X and I’m at 87%
Amazing. I have half as many cycles and am already at 87% !

Here is a screenshot I had been meaning to post for my battery health I had taken when they cycle count was right around 730. I heavily use my phone and you can see the progression as my cycle count increased.

I’m on 83% and “your battery’s health is significantly degraded” for my launch day X. Though not as good as new, it’s actually performing to my expectations for a nearly two-year old phone but I want to pass it on to my mum soon and she will want another two years out of it. Since it’s still in warranty, do you think Apple would replace the battery?

Does this makes sense? That drop from 98% to 94% in less than a month and 30 cycles. The screenshot is from Coconut Battery.
Battery Health on the iPhone X reads 96%.

Is it me, or does it makes any sense? I don't see any reason for that huge drop in % in just one month.

No, but it's just an estimate. It could have been overestimating before and underestimating now. I don't really pay that much attention to it. You'll know when your battery is subpar if you keep your phone long enough.

Is it me or iPhone X models have pathetic battery health? 8 months of use any my battery health is already at 86%. I have used Apple’s official 30W USB C charger with Apple original USB C to lightning cable exclusively to charge this phone. Wife’s phone is slightly worse at 85%. Same usage pattern and another Apple official 30W USB charger for her as well. My phone also gets randomly hot especially when battery is below 20%.

Not really. I've got 2 years old iPhone X with battery health ~98% and 200 charge cycles. Usually I charge over night with 5w charger included in box.
