Hi all,

A few days ago I received a iPod touch from a friend which doesn't work anymore. It was booting and then showing a white screen like this one on youtube.

I tried to put it in DFU mode and used iTunes to restore it. After iTunes checked the firmware it reboots the iPod and a progress bar shows up. However before the progress bar starts filling up, the phone reboots with the white screen and iTunes gives an error.

After several different attempts to fix it I started iRecovery which gives the following output

Code:
$ ./irecovery -s
iRecovery - Recovery Utility

Entering recovery mode, starting command prompt

Using 'printenv' in iRecovery doesn't give anything. I also tried to get it out of the reboot loop but without succes.

Does any of you have any idea's how to fix this? Thanks in advanced!

Jailbricked I believe.

There are still a few tricks left, but if you are talking about DFU mode, then you probably know everything I do.

Try bumping it to iOS7? I'm really just guessing here.
