Hi,

I'm found a used LG Ultrafine 5K someone wants to sell me. He sent me a pic of the tag, but I cannot tell if:

1. It's the latest version of the monitor and
2. If it's the model that had addressed the shielding issue directly from the manufacturer.

Does anyone know how to tell these things from the label?

I don't want to buy it if it has manufacturer defects/issue.

The model number from the label is:

27MD5KA
Manufactured May 2018

Thanks. Is there any material difference between the two?

My primary concern is that this particular monitor doesn't have the shielding issue. Can this be determined by the label?

It will most likely have image ghosting. The new ones are apparently finally fixed on that issue.
