Anybody know of a patch/bypass to allow use of the iTunes Store on versions before 9? I use iTunes 4 on most of my PPC machines, and I cannot log in to my account, which means I cannot authorize my TV shows, and I cannot buy new music from them. Upgrading to 9 is not a realistic option on some of these machines, and I'm not a huge fan of the direction of iTunes after 4.

I don't think there's a way. Just tried accessing the store with 4.0 running on my server and all I got was the endless "Accessing Store" dialogue.

A workaround might be to redirect your iTunes 4 libraries to the one that can still access the store. You'd just need to be careful that anything downloaded there is in a format iTunes 4 can understand.
