I just purchased a refurbished MacBook Air and was running Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on it and was just wondering what speeds I should expect or what others had gotten. Thanks so much.

On the off-chance that you purchased a 2017 MBA, here is what I observed with my recent purchase:
- the original 128GB SSD had ~700 MB/sec writes and ~1400 MB/sec reads.
- after upgrading to a Phison-based 960 GB Micron NVMe SSD the write speed went up to 1400 MB/sec, matching the read speed at 1400 MB/sec.

What year is your MBA?

It also depends on the size of your SSD. Here are the speeds for 2019.

For earlier years, google is your friend.

Thanks. This is perfect. I bought a refurb 2019 and just want to make sure everything is working normally.
