I upgraded recently to macOS HS and using Mac Pro 5,1 with wireless Apple Keyboard 2 and Trackpad 2 after updating the BT and Wifi card purchased from OSXWifi sometime ago.

I noticed that I don't have Cmnd + C or Cmnd + Spacebar or any of the standard keyboard shortcuts.

I deleted the (com.apple.HIToolbox.plist) according to a response on Apple support and after logging in and out, it seemed to work for a minute and then stopped working again. If I press the Cmnd button it auto highlights my Mac HD drive on the desktop.

Any idea?

This turned out to be a very simple fix, disconnect from the bluetooth menu and removed it entirely i.e. deleted it from the bluetooth menu. I then tethered it again to the computer and 'voila' all the shortcuts work.
