Hello guys, I'm having a problem I have not had before, my Macbook's Mic suddenly stopped working.
I tried to activate Siri and it work seamlessly, but in the Sound menu in setting I have to scream very loud for it to register and bars in the volume strip, it also doesn't work in other apps. I went back to Siri and spoke with a very low voice and it still registered every word perfectly. So I know that the microphone somehow is perfectly okay, yet not responsive outside of Siri, maybe a software bug?
I am not sure to what could be the problem, anyone has had this issue before?

Edit: When activating Siri while looking at the Volume bar in settings, it starts jumping normally like there is nothing wrong, once I close Siri it stops registering anything.
