I have an old G5 tower. It's from the original run. It has a 1.8GHz processor. A few years ago it stopped working, I think it's the power supply.

Is this worth keeping or should I just throw it out. I was considering selling it but I don't think it's worth going through the hassle.

I would second selling it or giving it away. In absolutely no circumstance throw it out, as it is completely worth the hassle for most people here, especially if it's just one bad component.

Throwing computers out is a horribly wasteful, rampant practice reliant on inherent consumerism and a lack of worth for what's already at hand. Do not fall victim to this.
