How you liking the benz. I currently drive a 2013 GS. I miss having car play but at least it has bluetooth.
So far, I'm loving it. The 2019 was the redesign year -- so, it has an inline-6 turbo, and it's super nice to drive. It's about double the cost (ish) of the GS though :-O

But, my new toy has been at the dealers for a while now -- killed a tire and rim on day 2 (pothole), and they had a few due-bill items to take care of...

CarPlay is an absolute must have though. I don't know how I lived without it!

Bought this a week ago. Have owned every generation of the RX (2001 RX300, 2006 RX400h, 2012 RX450h which my inlaw now owns). The most reliable cars I've ever owned, had never gone back for service other than routine stuff. 400 miles into my second tank and the average MPG is 32.8, amazing for a car this size. Contemplated on waiting for Tesla Model Y which would make perfect sense since I have solar (and a Model 3!), but the constant buggy software updates is a turn off for me.

Damn you get better MPGs than my wife's RC200T! We can barely get the mid 20s with that thing

Curious what bugs you are getting? I have 2 Model 3s and have had Teslas for over 4 years with minimal to no issues on software that's for sure.

Sorry to hear that!

I love the car, but every software update has introduced little bugs here and there. To name a few that comes to mind in the past few months - scrambled display, car taking long to wake when opening app, surrounding cars dancing around on the display, display turning super dim at night, backup camera looking like it went from 1080p to 480p, false positives with the emergency lane departure avoidance, phantom slamming of the brakes on highway while on autopilot (repeatable when driving under the same overpass on the highway at night), more recently the FM radio stops working until I reboot the car.

Some of these were fixed with subsequent updates (which at times introduced other new bugs), others not. None is more than just annoyances, but the phantom braking and false positives with ELDA are bigger issues. At least I can choose not to use autopilot and since couple versions ago Tesla gave the ability to permanently turn off ELDA rather than it turning itself back on on every drive. It's all the little things here and there that annoy the most.

Oh the last update 32.2.2, I noticed the fan stayed on long after I exited the car and the battery drained 3% in about 2 hours just sitting in the garage (I don't use the interior temp protection function). As soon as I opened the door the fan stopped. There had been complaints of the fan randomly staying on before, but I hadn't heard the battery draining that much.

Perhaps I'd been less annoyed of Tesla focuses on quality rather than adding games and fart mode. I love the car, just not with some of the things the company does.

It was actually at 34.2MPG after 200 miles of 75/25 local/highway drives, until I made a 120 mile round trip on the highway with the AC blasting the whole time and the averaged went back down to earth to 32.8. My normal drive is 50/50 highway/local. I think ~32MPG will be the norm. In my 2012, the lifetime average at 115k miles was 27.8MPG, and in ideal conditions best I ever got was 31.

I've had others in the past half decade or so (a Silverado and a Mazda) for dailies, but now it's just old faithful, for the time being. I really don't get tired of this thing, even if I wish it was more practical.

My model S P90D ludicous and the wife's model 3 performance

A 2 Tesla family as well, love it!

How hard/much was your floor install? Have been considering it as well versus the epoxy.

Looks great!
