A XS. I’m surprised by how much I like the size. I’ll probably be sticking with the phone for two to three years.

Just went from 5 + years with the iPhone 6+ to the Pro max. Lots have changed. Not liking have to learn how to use a phone but now I'm current.

11 Pro Max feels like what I wanted by XS Max to be. Very, very happy with this phone.

I can't believe how many of you upgrade every single year / have the latest iPhone model. Still using my 8+.

I'm still running with my 3 year old 7+. Still on the original battery (though it's starting to show its age). The phone itself runs fine, is snappy, and doesn't really seem to need an upgrade. I keep thinking about it, but I may just save my money for another year.

You're surprised that people who frequent an iPhone forum would be interested in the latest tech?

Well... i am also interested in tech... but honestly, the actual improvement year-to-year is so minimal... is it really worth all that money... if you buy your stuff outright like i do?

I buy all of mine outright. I don’t like upgrade programs. It’s just sometimes I can’t resist wasting money…

It’s a hell of a lot less than it was 5-6 years ago. It’s cool to see a healthy chunk of tech enthusiasts are keeping their iPhones longer these days too. I suppose the updates are so small it’s less of a need than it was when the iPhone 5 came out.

That one i can agree on. The upgrades we see year-to-year are so minimal.

My 6 still fulfill my daily needs (very modest, I have to say). With new battery changed last year runs really well taking into account its age.

I’m an iPhone 7 user who prefers the size of the SE, so basically the current iPhone line up doesn’t really hold much appeal.

Was briefly hopeful about rumours that they were making a 5.4 size next year (which at least would be no worse than the 7/8 bodies), but then learned that’ll likely be the non-pro model.

Really wish there wasn’t this equivalence that people who want small phones are only doing it because they want the cheapest phone. :(

Had a 512GB space grey 11 Pro Max on launch day. Used it for about a month. Loved the enormous screen, but my hand would cramp up due to the stretching I did to touch far corners of the screen. So I purchased a 512GB midnight green 11 Pro with a nomad active case. Love the combo and haven't looked back. To be honest, battery life on both the Pro Max and Pro are astounding. Both phones can last me 2 days. The difference in battery life between the two isn't a whole lot IMO.

The 2020 6.1" iPhone Pro might be the perfect size for me.

iPhone XR. Really can’t see what they can do to get me to upgrade from this. Has everything I need. Big screen and long battery life. Don’t care about cameras.
