I purchased ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac 6 - for my digital asset management (photos and such). This program is so nice to use. It's replaced the venerable GraphicConverter for my needs.

From the useless organization tips file.....

Reordered these.

I began using these transparent file folders a while ago. They hold documents wonderfully for storage and especially for transport between offices, meetings, etc.. I‘m slightly unwell when it comes to wanting organization and order.

Finally moving away from iMacs...this is getting ready to ship to me.

Testing at an Apple store yesterday confirmed I made the right choice for me after all this back and forth since 2017.
I've had Mac minis since 2013, but after using my new MBA for everything I'm going to start buying from the MacBook line from now on.

Well then, I had to find a replacement for the old AirPort Extreme and an even older Airport base station I had set up for my Mom. I didn't really want to get a complicated system, so what easy way to go.....

Jaybird Tarah Pro. I had the Jaybird X3 for 3 years until they finally died / couldn't hold much of a charge. I am not sold on the AirPods or any other truly wireless headphones / earbuds just yet as I am afraid I will lose one somehow.

I also like having the controls right on the wire and the magnetic function of the earbuds themselves for the gym. Sound is great, battery life is awesome (14h on a single charge), and the app they have to customize the sound is nice.

Not a big fan of the rubber tips (used the foam ones for the X3) but they are growing on me and are staying in my ear. The bonus is the braided cord too for more durability.

It isn't only Black Friday at the big stores, but your local ones as well. Hit up a local comic book store to show my support and score a couple of things I've wanted for awhile.

Revoltech makes some of the craziest figures. You ever wanted some figure models for crazy anatomy & even crazier poses, they've got it covered.

“Rescued” by Pamela Patrick White
28” x 48” oil on canvas original

The white horse in the center was rescued from abuse and neglect, and stands flanked by two new companions.

My SO and I met the artist at a show last weekend, and saw this. I have three of her prints of colonial era members of the Delaware People (or Leno Lenape tribe), which she is more known for.

I’m not normally keen on horse pictures or paintings, but this one grabbed me. We spent a week thinking hard about buying it, went back to the gallery to look at it again today, and wound up taking it home.

Ordered a (hopefully) more reliable USB 3.1Gen2 NVMe drive case, to replace the existing one I have that's just a dumpster tire+chip-fat fire of failure. TB3 cases are pretty much non-existent locally, and the M2 I have is right around the 'ideal' speed for a USB one anyway (i.e. it was cheap/slow enough that it won't be bottlenecked much by the 10Gbit speed of the interface).
