I have developed a 12 volts power bank that can also be customized for different other voltages using lithium ion battery pack. It can be used as a power backup solution for most cameras by just simple customization. Components can be easily procured as it uses commonly available components.
It's a DIY project. I have also tested it for some time and works great. I have tested it out with multiple video cameras(Canon, Panasonic, etc.) and live webcasting equipment. I have made a video to give you and idea of how to build one yourself cost effectively. Do watch this video and send me your comments on how I can improve the prototype.
