I am going to make my wife a tape of songs she likes. I would like to add a statement before each song. What is the best app to record and save my comment, then add it to my list of songs I will place in iTunes or a thumb drive. Thanks for any help

Audacity would probably be a very good choice.

Another option is to use Voice Memos either on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac To record your comments

later if you drag the voice memo from the “voice memo app” onto the desktop it will appear as audio file and you can then drag from there over into iTunes and into a playlist - then put everything in the correct order etc.

You could even stitch them together if you wanted with an app like MP3 trimmer
