So there is an automatic setting to change light and dark mode like iOS. With iOS though you can set it so that it comes on depending on whether its day and night. Yet from what I can see on macOS it can only be linked with night shift. This is annoying because being winter the nights start around 4pm and I don't want the yellow screen of night shift until later (I have it set to 22:30 on my iPhone). Is there a way to get it like it is on iOS?

Under General in System Preferences you can set auto like on iOS, provided you are on Catalina

Under Settings>Display>Night Shift you can create customized night shift hours. Then choose auto for light/dark mode in General Settings.

If I hover over the Auto pic under general a message comes up saying "automatically adjusts buttons, menus and windows based on your night shift settings" does no one else have this then?

Strange. Is it the same if you turn off night shift?
