I would like to restore via Yime Machine my current Macbook Pro 13” backup which is running Mountain Lion 10.8 to my new 15.4” 2015 running Mojave. Would it work? I don’t want to lose all my softwares and third party plugins in Logic X.
My concern is to start fresh but keep all I have running in my actual Macbook optimizing time. I would then backup with Time Machine my new Macbook Pro on a fresh hard drive and keep using both computers with their dedicated time machine hard drives.
Would ai have to open a new iCloud account dedicated to the new computer right?
