I did actually go to my local store and tried it on with various bands including the black modern buckle but unfortunately they hadn’t charged up the watch so it was dead which kinda made it look even bigger just having a big black screen with nothing active on it. Excuse the poor photos ?

Notice where I circled on the picture of your Apple Watch, either that is a chip or reflection from the lighting. If it’s a chip, then your cursing is going to be accentuated😁.

Has anyone managed to scratch or damage the ceramic casing? I saw a post a few pages back of someone who got hot metal on it but managed to clean it off.

Will the DLC coated bands scratch the ceramic?

1. White makes objects look bigger. I had a Rolex Explorer II with the white face and it looked considerably bigger than the same watch with the black face.
2. The ceramic is a tiny bit bulkier than the steel/Ti/Alu models. You can see it with the „lip“ between the Glas and the case. I assume the overall size of the watch is 2mm bigger than the other materials.

On my wrist the 44m ceramic sits almost fully on the wrist when looking from a top. So the 40mm could be a smoother overall fit.

Any men here who opted for the 40mm vs 44mm and what is your experience?

i tried on the 40 ceramic on and I liked it better than my 44.
the SBSS 40 looks small and I like the 44 SBSS more than the 40

will you switch to the 40mm? I have a 40mm on its way to me and will then make a decision between the 40 and my 44 ceramic. My wife has the SS in 40 and that is borderline for me, but the 40mm ceramic could be the sweet spot as white makes it look bigger and the ceramic is adding about a 1mm to the case vs. the SS 40. Luxury debates, I know, but looking for the one perfect match.

Very content with the 44, no regrets sticking with the larger watch. y

if you're open to "alternative sourcing", you can check either ebay or even amazon UK. I live in singapore so i've been shipping in from everywhere :)

Now I also received the 40mm and really torn. The 40mm is super comfortable, light and a bit more elegant, also due to the different width/length ratio. But whichever of the two I am putting on I think that is the keeper. What do you think?

BTW: I will only use it with the white sport band.
