I want to put Yosemite on my unsupported mac. I know I need a copy of the yosemite installer but it is no longer able to be downloaded from the App store. Is there any site where I can safely download an installer?

The mac I own is a 2006 iMac with Lion 10.7.5. I just bought it and I love it so far.

You can still download the installer directly from Apple:
Section 4 has a link to download the official dmg.

Note: you can't just blit this dmg to a disk, you'll need to boot the machine into a previous version of OSX (10.6+), open the dmg there, and run the installer.
