Someone doesn't understand the relationship between China and the US very well...
Explain it to us. Try to use small words and short sentences, please.

3. Never trust a man about financial and economic matters when he’s filed more bankruptcies than 99.9% of the population
Yet still manages to live like a king and be the President of the richest and most powerful nation on Earth. Huh. Imagine that!

Your view on the world is fascinating. I’m very happy to be born in Western Europe, where living standards are the highest in the world, thanks to “old fashioned” socialism. Free healthcare, free education, ... maybe you should give it try. Granted, we have many other issues, including the rise of nationalism (partially thanks to the example Trump set) and immigration.

And you do know why the rest of the world hates the US? Because you interfere everywhere out of self interest and then let the situation escalate. American imperialism at its best. It has always been America First.

You’re right though on the environment: your political system is bankrupt and your priorities are all messed up. We have elections coming up and climate change is one of the biggest voting points here, while you keep playing the blaming game. Do yourselves a favour and start a third political party. It would shift dynamics.

Wrong, your healthcare is not free, it’s paid for by stealing an inordinate amount of your income as taxes.
And nationalism has never waned in Western Europe, it’s just worse than ever before and certainly not due Trump.

Yeah, we interfere. Thank god we do or Western Europe would still be under the thumb of the Nazis or Russia. Western Europe folded like paper napkins during WWII. If it weren’t for Great Britain and especially the US with its huge supply of men and materials, on the western front, Europe as it is now would not exist.
Frankly, though, I’d love to see the US stop interfering, let Europe and the Middle East figure it out for themselves, if they can.

My company makes the main chip used in these power bricks and we're a US company and those chips are made in the US. They're just sent overseas to be assembled in to the final product. We, as an American company, get nailed by these tariffs multiple times, going out and coming in.
All people see is made in china and not that what's inside is made by many American companies.

Paying taxes isn’t “stealing”. It is called contributing to society, a concept most Americans fail to comprehend.

Reading some of the comments like yours is quite frankly astonishing. It is like stumbling upon a bunch of cave men. World war? Nazis? You bombed a country with a NUCLEAR BOMB. They certainly don’t need to feel any “gratitude”. They have moved on. But you? continue living in the past. Continue talking about the nazis and stroking your guns. The civilized world has moved on long time ago.

Who is ripping who off? As soon as China drops US Treasurys the world is hosed.
I wonder how Trump would feel about not allowing US Treasuries then to be sold to foreign countries so that we would not be dependent on foreign countries as he does not want us to be dependent on China for goods. If one targeted just one specific race of people at work it could be considered racial profiling or racial discrimination. China is one of the largest holders of US Treasuries as China’s trade with the US is one of the largest as well. I think Trump is getting greedy here looking to benefit from this or use this as an other excuse for other agendas in mind.

Does the US buy China Treasuries in the same amount the China buys from US..? We talk about a trade gap here ..

Our country has been digging itself into a hole for the past two decades. Glad that we’ve finally got a leader who’s willing to deal with all this garbage, make some tough decisions and do what it takes to get us back out of this hole. I just hope the American people aren’t so spoiled and lazy at this point that they can no longer pull themselves up by their bootstraps, cinch their belts and work through things when they really need to. America IS becoming great again.
As a Non US citizen, I’m baffled by this. You genuinely make it sound like he’s a normal president, doing presidential stuff and getting things done. Like, he might be a bit quirky but let’s look passed all that and look at the amazing talent he truly is. That’s just baffling.

In reality, he’s a rambling old white man, he’s not an intellectual, he’s watching fox, tweeting and playing golf at 75 years old. Do you honestly think he’s working hard?

And keep in mind, he can barely read or finish a coherent sentence. He surrounds himself with criminals, he appointed idiots on every single key position just to undermine your democracy, he lied over 10.000 times! And his entourage is even worse.

As an outsider I cannot understand how far the world of republicans and democrats are apart. How hard must one hate the standpoint of the democrats that you can defend what’s going on?

Maybe there’s something in the water? Or your news channel is broken? Or you managed to brainwash each other. But one day you’ll have to face reality.

Just like the rest of the world will have to face reality he’ll get a second term. Easily.

I think it depends on whether or not the importer is the actual retailer. At times the importer is the importer and retailer and other times where it may come from importer to distributors to wholesalers and then to retailers. There would be 2 increases in reality which is 25% on cost and 25% new retail sales sales (say it was 9% sales tax on $10 before where now it would be 9% sales tax on $12.5). Your retail price would increase twice due to tariff increase and sales tax increase.

It is not fair to say "our country" as China does not just sell to America. It also sells to other countries all around the world where income is not as high as it is in the US. Those countries have not been ripped off.
Which goes even further to prove the point that America has REALLY been getting ripped off.
[doublepost=1557852264][/doublepost]
I’m not sure that being forced to cinch one’s belt means we’re great again.
Being spoiled and lazy ain’t either. Complaining about having to “buck up” when we need to is probably a sign of that.

Idk where you’re getting your info from. Maybe CNN or some other misguiding, divisive media source? I would recommend getting your facts straight.

The USA has the MOST POWERFUL ECONOMY IN THE WORLD (which makes it funny that you, an outsider, is even trying to step into this argument; you’re like a little league baseball player trying to tell an MLB player how to throw a baseball... but maybe you don’t even know what baseball is in the first place? America’s past time?).

The American people are at all-time record lows for unemployment rates (3.2%), including blacks, Hispanics and women. Our middle and lower class incomes have experienced a massive growth of over 3%. The income of those classes had ceased to grow over a decade ago. We created over 260,000 new jobs in our country just in the last month. Our country is the envy of the world, probably why people are willing to risk their lives to try to live here.

Everything you said is frivolous, wrong and supported only by emotions and hatred for the President of our country, whom IS making America great again.

That is debatable I reckon. If you go to a dealership an oil change for a BMW,Mercedes or a Porsche can be North of $200-300 where if you go outside an oil change may cost you as little as $50-90. The dealership could argue that they are getting ripped off by people outside charging less money for oil changes where as people getting their oil changed could argue that the dealership is ripping them off.;) In an open market you be able to buy from where you want to. China could argue that they are getting ripped off by Africa,Brazil,Vietnam,Thailand,Myanmar,Cambodia and the list goes on and on. Not all countries earn equal income because "REALLY" being ripped off here is not true due to the fact that not everyone on earth is paid equally. Even in the US not everyone is paid equally. Minimum wage in the US is not the same for everyone in every state and every city.

Lavrov just brought this point up to Pompeo in the meeting thread I just put up that starts at the 19:00 mark

It might come as a surprise but we do have the news and it does report on the MOST POWERFUL ECONOMY IN THE WORLD. Too bad you’re not the wealthiest nation, or the one with the highest living standard, or best healthcare or education.

But at least you have baseball... and the best entertainment there is: Trump. Because while unemployment rates are down, it’s tricky to pinpoint what his part in all this is. Unemployment has been dropping non stop since 2010, long before he was president.

Again, I’d advise you to check your facts. We’re also the wealthiest nation. Trump has increased annual revenue by 100s of billions of dollars since he started. And as for your health care and education... that is HIGHLY debatable. And if you really do think it’s better than ours, then all I can say is enjoy it while it lasts, cuz socialism never does. Trump has made tax cuts, incentives to make businesses move back to America, he’s giving money to farmers who are struggling under current conditions, he just passed a bill that will require health care providers and drug companies to provide upfront costs BEFORE the consumer chooses to purchase anything, he’s temporarily eliminated asylum loopholes with one hand whilst trying to pound common sense into the democrats with the other so that they will allow for all other immigration loopholes to be closed. Idk what else you’re looking for...
Also the argument that unemployment has been going down since Obama... yes a Democrat classic. Look up the charts. It was stagnate, barely inching downward under Obama. Then look at it when President Trump gets into presidency. Drops like a ROCK.

It’s obvious that you’re just like any other Trump hater. You ignore the facts and feed off of your own hatred for him. Just because, well, he’s doing a great job. Remember, the American people voted him into office, and they will vote him into office again.

Unemployment is down 1% since Trump took office from the point Obama left office(as of april 2019)

Black unemployment was already trending down. The trend simply continued:
https://www.factcheck.org/2018/01/trump-takes-undue-credit-black-unemployment/

Earnings for the middle class essentially stagnated after reganomics and hasn't really recovered many decades later(adjusted for inflation)

This covers a lot of his ongoing claims, it's from the state of union in February:
https://www.factcheck.org/2019/02/factchecking-the-state-of-the-union-2/

Employment, note where the trend began and just continued:
https://unemploymentdata.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Historical-Employment-Chart-5-19.png
https://unemploymentdata.com/charts/historical-employment-data/

Trade deficit is up 23.5% since trump took office.

So did I. And you decided they were out of context... And it’s 3.2% last I checked. Also, it’s the all-time lowest rate in American history (including all-time lows for minorities, and soon to be all-time low for women. I guess liberals are unhappy that conservatives are beating them at their own game?). Hm, who was the president when it happened? Oh yeah, Trump. He must have been doin something right. Something right FOR THE PEOPLE.

No you didn't. Unless it's on previous pages.
It's not about being happy or unhappy, it's just facts. The trend simply continued. Clearly you didn't read the links I provided. Or maybe you're not good at charts?
I'll post this one again: https://www.factcheck.org/2018/01/trump-takes-undue-credit-black-unemployment/

April unemployment was 3.8%, another site shows 3.6%. It will be revised in the coming months. Being in May we don't have that data yet.

Are you really that dense? You said unemployment was stagnant under Obama and then drops like a rock under Trump. I present you with a graph that points out you are incorrect. The graph clearly goes down since 2010. The trend indeed continues under Trump, but your claims are fake news. Period.

If someone presents you with facts, graphs or science, you can’t wave it away without proper counter arguments.

He's also worth more than 99.9% of the population. When I catch up with him, I'll offer him business advice. Just making a point, not defending anything. No matter how much people don't like him, he knows business. Just look how many times the Stockmarket has set new all time records since he's been in office. Which has benefited many of us. However, I just cant seem to like him as a human... Which is not good for my life "profession". lol

He’s worth more than 99.9% of the population because he inherited his wealth. He’s a great self-promoter, I’ll give him that, but to say that he knows business is pushing it. By all counts, he would have far more wealth had he invested his inheritance in an SP500 index fund. Like I said, a great businessman wouldn’t have filed so many bankruptcies and had so many business failures; Taj Mahal, NJ Generals, Trump University, Trump steaks... the list goes on.

As for the stock market and jobless rate, it’s been on a tear for the better part of 10 years so he literally inherited that too. And the republicans goosed it by cutting taxes but it didn’t work because the tax cuts were supposed to pay for itself by driving growth to 4%+ but we’re nowhere near that and over 10 years, it’ll cost the country 1.4 trillion dollars. Short term gain for a lot of long term pain.

Trump is doing what he’s always done... borrowing money, taking on more debt, and when the economy eventually sputters, files for bankruptcy. Except this time, he’s bankrupting the country... financially and morally.

BTW, I’m neither a republican nor democrat... these bozos care far more about their party than the country and everyone should reject them and vote independent.
