I've read that there are problems with TM with newer versions of OS. I am on Big Sur. My backup seemed to stop. I tried "Start backup now" Then I got the error "Waiting for first backup to end". Two days ago I wiped out my TimeCapsule and startet TM from scratch. It backed up fine and seemed to do incremental backups. But then it seems to stop and reports last copy to be yesterday at 11:08. I could start the procedure all over again - but I am afraid it will just reoccur.
If there is not a fix for this, I think I need to change backup system. Any advice? I am fairly OK technologically, but not comfortable with too much fiddling.
Please advice.
