I'll be in the middle of typing usually, and then suddenly I have nothing. I can't type I can't use the track pad. I'm just trapped and 'auto save' won't have engaged so project work get's lost
Remedies I've read:
Opt+Command+p+r after powering DOWN and during the power UP (this does work sometimes but I can't tell if it's just finally working or what) The way people have written fixes it looks like I'm supposed to go into some mode where I can alter things but that never happens and it just suddenly starts to work again.
Once I get it back up and running it may work for a day. It may work for an hour. In other words I have no idea how long I'll be able to work.
This is unacceptable as I DJ and make music. This is killing me.
