So I made two apps for my clients, two very simple apps about voting, election and Universal Suffrage in Hong Kong.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wo-yao-zhen-pu-xuan-yellow/id935542502?mt=8
and
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/chief-executive-election-wo/id935542893?mt=8

It took them almost 3 months In Review and finally got approved this morning but only to realise the app is available for sale everywhere around the world EXCEPT for Hong Kong and China.

Dude what's the point then?!

Then i got a call from a beijing dude who said he works for Beijing Apple app review team. He told me that they cannot allow this app in those two regions because voting is apparently "illegal" ..

Is that true??!?! I am pretty sure that isn't true cos in 2017 they are going to have public election for their Chief Executive (equivalent to Prime minister over here i guess). But its just that the Chinese Government filters out the candidates first.

It's not illegal but to be able to vote you have to register proving your qualifications etc. so without registration it would be.
