Max M3 Extended display via USB C hub
Just wanted to share in the hope no one else has to waste so much time. It turns out it's one display per port on the mac. Not like with windows where you can use a hub and connect multiple display to the hub. If you do this with a mac you will just end up with an extended display that is...- szim

Connecting external display for mirroring
I have a 24" M1 iMac connected to a nearby TV via a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Basically I want to occasionally use the TV to mirror the iMac, but most of the time I will be using the iMac screen only. The problem is, after I turn off the TV, there seems to be no way to make the iMac stop mirroring...- no0nefamous

Dual display iMac setup
I have two 27" iMacs and would like to use one of them as an extended display. All of the research I have done, including on the Apple website, says that all iMacs from Late 2009 onwards are capable with this feature. The two iMacs I have are Late 2009 and Mid 2011 models (see below/attached)...
