My iPod Touch 2nd Gen is running iOS 4.1 and i heard about iOS 4.2.1 but i dont wanna update it.

When I take photos using my iPhone and then posting them into the forum, the images are pretty large. Is there a way to edit them through iOS in order to make them smaller to a decent size for uploading to forms?
