Hi, I attempted to return my orange clamshell iBook running is 9.2.2 to its original state with the os restore / install discs os 8. Now on startup I get as far as a flash of the desktop and it shuts down. Same for booting from CD. Any thoughts?

I bought a first generation iBook g3 clamshell running os 9.2.1, and when I open the airport setup application, I can connect to my Netgear router, but when I open classilla, it can't connect to any pages. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
