    Update: Issues have still not been fixed in macOS 13 Ventura. So macOS Monterey finally comes with support for external variable refresh rate monitors using FreeSync and GSync. I am using a FreeSync compatible Samsung monitor myself, which is working absolutely flawlessly in Windows machines...
