Hello,

I'm running 10.3 Server and I want to create a Share Point that acts as an images and logos depot. I want Guest users to access the folder, but I don't want them to be able to delete folders or files (thus, READ ONLY). At the same time, I want them to be able to copy the images and logos from the server and be able to edit them locally.

Right now I have permissions set to Everyone = READ ONLY — so, they can't delete from the server, but at the same time, when the copy to their machine via Guest access, the files are still READ ONLY and they can't edit without doing a save-aa or manually changing the permissions. As this could become a major pain (25+ users and thousands of images), this really isn't an option (and even less so when these images then get sent to a printer who has to make changes, but won't be able to without changing permissions, etc.).

Is there any way to set up a Share Point to do what I want?

Thanks,
Kristin.
