Have anyone noticed any longer life from the X to the Max. I know its kinda hard to tell in the first couple days cause we are on it so much and its the weekend. But can you tell if it really lasts longer in your everyday use.

I think mine seems about the same, but really hard to tell since i have like 8 hours of screen time a day the last 2 days and i plug it in at night still.

If this was already posted, oh well!

I don't know about battery life yet, but I wanted to check the capacity of my battery out of curiosity. I don't have a mac, only windows and it appears ibackupbot doesn't want to connect to my XsM yet (I guess will need an update), so I installed syncios since it shows the same type of info. I was amazed at what it stated, and if it is accurate I am very happy!

Syncios battery stats:
Cycle Count: 2
Design Capacity: 3156mah
Max Capacity: 3400mah
Battery Health: 107%

How does syncios work?

I have. Take it off the charger at 5:30 am at 100% and when I put it back on the charger at bedtime around 10:00, it is at around 40%. With my X, that same daily scenario generally resulted in a bedtime percentage of around 15-20%.

Battery life is solid, just like my 8+. It’s not incredible, but the best part is that I am not losing 20% per day due to standby drain like so many of my older android phones would.

To me, real world tests and results will be realistic in a few weeks. Basically, after proper day to day use, versus configuring, setting up and changing the device constantly.

Do not care about fast charging. I drop my phone on the wireless pad before bed and don't worry about it.
Same. end of day around 40%-50%. Put it on my inductive charging pad and 100% in the morning. Don't really care about fast charging either. I use the 7.5w powerwave made by Anker.

Mine was off charge from 8am yesterday until midnight with about 7 hours of screen on time and still had 12% left.

Mine was off charger at 7:57am yesterday and had mixed usage throughout the day (web browsing, gaming, messaging, calls, emails, YouTube and about 30mins of listening to a podcast) and by 12:24am it had 2% left. 6h 29m of screen on time. With similar usage on my X, it would've died several hours earlier.

This is totally by memory, but I feel the Max does last an hour longer for the first 10% of my battery versus the X.

I also feel like my 7Plus lasted a little longer than the Max for the first 10%.

I remember thinking that the 7Plus took a good 20-25 minutes to drop from 100% to 99% after I took it off charger. The Max seems to drop that same 1% in about 5-10 minutes.

Here's a good comparison. Early days though, so don't think this is definitive...

XS Max > XS > X.

Surprised to see the 4000mah battery of the Note 9 not last longer, but the host did mention it was set to its highest resolution.

This would be disappointing for me, I upgraded to the Max (still haven't had time to open it) and a huge factor for me was that battery would be better than my X. Hope Apple claims are true and battery life is effectively better.

Damn. What kind of battery usage are you looking at? Screen on time, etc.

Mine sure isn't THAT good

Feels the same me. But we all know the first weekend you get it you use it harder than any other weekend in its life.

This was just in strictly web browsing test. It depends on how you use it. It could last longer for you and your use. I feel it has been the same for me but to early to tell.

But it’s done great. Technically I didn’t have to charge the phone once in 16 hours despite my use, and according to my stats a game took up about 70% of usage, and we all know how quickly gaming kills battery life on an iPhone. It’s one of those with an online connection too, and I was playing it quite a lot due to a tournament that was going on.

So this far, I’ve been really impressed and am quite happy with the battery life on my Max.

I've had extremely good battery life. Been going to sleep with around 50% each night. Went to bed around 80% one night, used it the entire next day and went to sleep with it around 30%. It seems I'd get 6-7 hours of SOT based on the amount I've been using when getting to around 50%.
