Against my better judgement, I updated my 6+ to 12.4.8. Totally kills the battery. Lost 90% over 12 hours with no activity. I'm pissed at myself more than anything. I knew Apple would try to pull this sh*t.

"That's an old phone." Uh, it worked until Apple screwed it up.

I last replaced my battery about a year ago with a certified Chinese replacement on my kitchen counter (man, those screws are tiny). Are you suggesting Apple is deliberately killing devices with a non-Apple battery? That's a serious charge to make.

Did a soft (two-button) reset and charged it up. After that, been sitting there for two hours on my desk at 100%. Whatever the issue was, it's gone apparently.
