Since the 14/14.2 update, phone is not happy. The battery overheats when plugged in for charge, the battery drains quickly (in use or not), it takes a long time to charge to 100%, there is serious lag time when accessing the home screen, it freezes and shuts down on numerous occasions throughout for various reasons, and when ear plugs are used, the music app opens by default (this happened many updates ago too). The music app also freezes and lags when correcting itself (image, song) to the correct playlist, album etc. if you want to change the song or turn the volume up. I have a 7 which is ancient for tech-time, however, since this update I haven't had any serious issues. Please fix the bugs! Thank you

14.2 update, serious issues with battery health, music app and home screen

sounds as if, among potentially other things, there is a run away app. Have you looked under settings/ battery to see if one app is using a lot of battery? Do you have background app refresh turned on? Have you force quit all apps and then did a restart? Just some common things to try if you haven't
