Hi, is there any impact in battery health if I use 140W charger ALWAYS with MBP 14? I do not want to switch between 140W and 67W for my work and personal MBPs. I know with PD chargers, device only takes what it needs from higher powered chargers. But it is having impact on battery health at least for iDevices.

I got the high-end 14" so mine shipped with the 97W charger. I decide to charge my iPhone Pro Max with the 97W charger and I purchased the 140W for the 14" Pro. I did this because I use my computer mobile and I need to get as much juice in it as fast as I can. Battery life is at 96% percent, really no difference since I got it in Jan 2022. Its the first gen 14" MBP. Its a great product.

Only 4% drop in 1 year seems pretty good. How do you charge it? like simply charge to 100% when drops below 20s or strictly keeping between 40% & 80% like others do?

I'd love to know the battery health of people using the MBP 14" base 67W charger. All other things being the same, I would expect it to be somewhat better than the ones that fast charge.

Day 1, base 14" M1Pro. I charge to 100% when charge gets low-ish. Usually somewhere in the 30s, sometimes 10s or 20s. Battery health says 99%. Usually use the charger it came with, sometimes use the wife's charger for the 16" which I believe is the more powerful one, and sometimes I use the USB-C charger of my daughters M1 Air if I'm too lazy to get my charger.

In other words, it doesn't seem to matter which charger you use, or if you charge to 100%, from my one anecdotal datapoint.
