15.7.1 how to delete iOS 16 download?

my iPhone 12 Pro downloaded the software but i don’t want to
update it. how do i delete the download?

i can’t find it in iPhone storage.

To delete an update go to General->iPhone storage and swipe left on the update to delete. If the update is not showing there try restarting your phone and seeing if that helps. If it still doesnt pop-up see if you can swipe or hold something in the update tab for more options.

it’s not showing under iphone storage. restart does nothing.

it’s already downloaded. previously i would see it under storage and delete the download but not seeing it now. idk if that changed in recent iOS updates?
